MACKNEY - Law enforcement officials announced a significant drug bust on Tuesday morning, unveiling a major narcotics operation that had been operating in the heart of the city. The operation, led by the Mackney Police Department, resulted in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of over 200 grams of cocaine, as well as a substantial quantity of marijuana and various drug paraphernalia. Authorities executed a search warrant at a residential property in East Mackney after months of surveillance and investigation. Police Chief Sarah Thompson stated in a press conference, "This operation was a clear threat to our community, and we are committed to taking action against drug-related crime.
